RefCam at Summer Nations Series

JockeyCam is delighted to have launched our new RefCam service at the 2023 Summer Nations Series.

Through a partnership with Six Nations Rugby, a brand new bespoke camera system has been designed which had the backing of referees and the sport’s governing body World Rugby.

Test day at Twickenham

Using similar internal tech to our live JockeyCam system, we have produced an exceptionally light-weight product housed in a specifically designed base-layer.

It was used live with our broadcast partners at games throughout the series, allowing viewers to get closer to the action.

The launch followed nearly 12 months of development and several test phases, working alongside referees and broadcasters.

JockeyCam would like to thank Six Nations Rugby for their backing throughout the project, together with referees and officials.

We are also grateful for the support of Chipping Norton Rugby Club in Oxfordshire, together with Hartpury College in Gloucestershire, both of which helped us test the system before taking it to viewers around the world.

Please contact us if you would like to find out more.
