JockeyCam Tees Off in Golf

The team at JockeyCam were delighted to run a pilot of ‘cap-cam’ at The BMW Championship at Wentworth, providing unique insight into the player and caddie interactions.

The camera was used live during coverage, including with Sky Sports’ on-course commentator Wayne ‘Radar’ Riley. Quickly named ‘RadarCam’ within Sky’s coverage, the camera got favourable reactions from Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy…click here to see Rory’s full reaction!

The camera was also used with Thomas Bjorn’s team and the camera provided something of a good luck charm, as Thomas proceeded to birdie the par 4 resulting in Chris, his caddie, asking if ‘the hat stays?’.

JockeyCam would like to thank the broadcast teams, the caddies, and golfers who used the technology.
