JockeyCam live “F1-style” chat at Newbury

JockeyCam provided live 2way audio with riders on behalf of Ladbrokes at the bookmaker’s gallops morning at Newbury Racecourse this week.

Harry Cobden and Barry Fenton also wore a live JockeyCam as contenders for the Ladbrokes Trophy on November 27th took to the course, along with others, in an event which was broadcast live on Racing TV.

Trainers Paul Nicholls and Emma Lavelle spoke to their riders respectively just moments after the gallops live on television.

It’s hoped the trial might help lead to the technology being permitted for use on British racecourses at some point in the future, in particular as riders head to post.

JockeyCam Ltd. would like to thank Ladbrokes for its support, as well as Newbury Racecouse, Racing TV and Racetech, together with the riders and trainers who kindly assisted.
